European Publishing is proud to follow to the Recommendation Practice on the "Presentation and identification of e-journals" of the National Information Standards Organisation (NISO RP-16-2013). This recommended practice was developed in order to provide guidance on the presentation of e-journals in the area of title presentation, accurate use of ISSN and citation practices (CrossRef and DOI) to publishers.

European Publishing is a member of Cross-Ref.  This citation-linking network covers more than 74 million journal articles, as well as many other content items from a variety of publishers globally. Through Cross-Ref, all articles published by European Publishing receive a unique Digital Object Identification number (DOI), that allows them to be cited.

CrossMark is a multi-publisher initiative to provide a standard way for readers to locate the current version of a piece of content. By applying the CrossMark logo,  European Publishing is committing to maintaining the content it publishes and to alerting readers to changes if and when they occur. Clicking on the CrossMark logo within published articles will tell you the current status of a document and may also give you additional publication record information.
